After pollen season and a Portland winter, glass goes gray and you stop noticing. Then it's clean and the whole house feels lighter. We do the outside glass, the screens and the sills, and we're careful on ladders because the people on them are ours.
Good to know: Any time of year. Many families pair it with a gutter cleaning in the fall and a power wash in the spring.

Moss in the cracks, green on the north side, the gray film on the patio you've stopped seeing. We use low pressure on siding and the right pressure on concrete, so nothing gets stripped, dented or driven under the siding.
Good to know: Best in a dry stretch. Spring is popular, but a dry week in fall works just as well.

In Portland, moss isn't a look, it's a leak waiting to happen. It lifts shingles and holds water against them. We treat it gently and let it release on its own, and we never put high pressure on a roof.
Good to know: Fall and spring are ideal. If you're not sure your roof needs it, send a photo and we'll tell you honestly.

Fir needles and leaves fill Portland gutters fast, and the first big rain is when you find out. We clear them by hand, flush the downspouts, and tell you if anything's pulling away or draining the wrong direction.
